A game of backgammon occupies the attention of three Arab men on a dull February afternoon. "Who is winning?" I ask. The one without a cap laughs and points to his friend on the right. "Always, always," he says, making a face of disgust. The one in the plain white cap laughs then. He pats his chest. "Good, I am good," he says.
