Approve
Worried about what others think? Most of us are, to some degree. We want to be accepted, approved. How do we know we have God's approval? We instinctively know we can't get that approval on our own, though we might try. Without that affirming nod from God, heaven's door remains closed to us.

Without Jesus Christ, none of us are acceptable. But when we believe in Christ's power to save us from God's judgment, we gain God's never-ending approval. God will never approve of the wrong things we do, and he will not tolerate continued disobedience, but God has accepted Christ's death as payment for the sins of anyone who trusts in Jesus as Savior. Through Christ, we gain God's approval.

God gives us his approval when we believe in Jesus Christ.
