Eye
If someone says, "I'm keeping an eye on you," it might imply suspicion or displeasure. But when God says his eye is on us, he's promising to watch over us with tenderness and care. He sees our every need and provides for us in ways we may not even be aware of. The Lord also gives spiritual insight, opening our eyes to see things we previously couldn't imagine or didn't know were there. On the other hand, Satan and sin blind us to spiritual truth.

Unfortunately, the miraculous capabilities of our physical sight allow all sorts of harmful things into our minds, making us vulnerable to temptation and sin. The world's messages can numb our spiritual sensitivity. We confuse what's good with what's harmful. And the things we allow our eyes to see often expose our minds to temptations. But in temptation - and in all other decisions in life - God is our guide. Just as an orchestra conductor can direct a musical score with a glance or the widening of his eyes, the Lord lead us us when we pay close attention to him.

God sees everyone everywhere.
