Gate
The awe-inspiring Saint Peter's Basilica rests on the legendary site of the apostle Peter's martyrdom. Inside this cathedral is the Holy Door, which is opened every 25 years during the Year of Jubilee. Its opening signifies a time to forgive sin.

Doors and gates are two effective barriers that keep people safe or hinder entry. Jesus Christ described himself as a gate-the only one we can walk through for lasting forgiveness of sins. However, his is a narrow entrance and often a difficult gate to enter-unless we're willing to leave everything else behind.

Following Christ is like walking through a narrow gate.
