Healing
Imagine if the 21st century brought us total and complete medical healing of all diseases. Unfortunately, such a miraculous event cannot happen outside of God's intervention. Only he can restore us permanently to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wholeness.

Jesus Christ walked this earth healing all sorts of diseases and bringing words of life to repair broken hearts and misled spirits. He healed out of compassion and, often, in response to an individual's faith.

Christians sometimes mistakenly believe they're continuing to hurt because of their lack of faith in God. They beat themselves up over what they perceive to be their own failing. While the Lord does function through our faith, a prolonged healing process - or no healing at all - doesn't necessarily reflect a lack of faith. God often uses such times to heal other areas of our lives that we didn't know were broken. Then God's healing brings greater glory to himself and deepens our trust in him.

God has the ability to cure us of our ailments, and we can ask him to heal us.
