Keep
Keep watch. Keep control. Keep the faith. Will these things be lost if we don't maintain them? Basically, yes. For instance, God keeps watch over us no matter where we are or what we are doing. He cares for us and faithfully protects us so that we are not lost to danger or to evil.

And his people, keeping God's commands means that we take them seriously and obey them as integral to our lives. When we do so, our faith remains strong, and we are protected from harm.

The Lord watches over us and keeps us from harm.
