Message
One of the bigger communication revolutions of the late twentieth century was the advent of e-mail, instant messages allowing us to contact people without gargantuan phone bills. But even more revolutionary than the technological revolution is the fact that God communicates with us.

In the Old Testament times, God sent messages through prophets, or even angels. These messages included warnings to correct sinful ways, instructions for living and prophecies of Christ's coming to earth. When Jesus finally stepped into history, his message was the invitation to the relationship with God-a message we are commanded to pass on to others.

God still speaks to us today in many different ways. The Bible records God's ways of doing things and his past faithfulness-communicating to us how to live in fellowship with him. God also communicates through the wisdom of other people who know him, through prayer, dreams, visions, events  and the list could go on. How do we know God is speaking to us? Jesus said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27).

Jesus Christ's messages urges us to turn away from our sinful lives and ally ourselves with God. We, in turn, are to pass this message on to others, telling them about him.
