Name
In this increasingly impersonal world, we have become numbers to the government, credit card companies and sometimes our employers. But God knows us by name. Names are very important to him!

God loves each individual by name and speaks to each of us personally. He wants us to know him by name too. God reveals his character to us in the many names he calls himself. He also calls us to believe in, and depend on, the name of Jesus Christ: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). When we pray in Jesus' name, we align ourselves with God's desire and authority - and he promises to answer.
