Neighbor
Robert Frost once wrote despairingly in his poem "Mending Wall" of a neighbor's claim that "good fences make good neighbors," wondering why a division would ensure good neighborly conduct. We can be the best neighbors when we reach out to those around us by building relationships and showing them the love of God.

But who are our neighbors? Neighbors are not limited to the people bordering our fences. Someone once asked Jesus the same question. He responded by telling a story of a man who was attacked and left for dead. Two religious leaders passed up the victim, refusing to help, but the third man, a racial enemy of the victim, helped the man. Jesus said that this last man, the one who showed mercy, was the true neighbor. We can emulate this example of a "good neighbor" by reaching out and showing God's love to anyone God brings into our daily lives who is in need.

Jesus Christ defines "neighbors" as more than the people who live next door to us.
Luke 10:25-36
We should treat our neighbors as we want to be treated-with kindness and honesty.

Matthew 19:19
Romans 13:9-10
Ephesians 4:25
If we desire our neighbors' possessions, we'll only get ourselves into trouble.
