Remember
From a string around a finger to a Post-It Note on a computer, people
have devised countless methods for remembering important things. But what
about remembering God? You wouldn't think if was possible, but we easily
forget what God has done for us. He gave the Israelites feasts and memorials
to remind them of how he delivered and provided for them. At his last
passover meal (see Passover) with his disciples, Jesus Christ commanded
them to remember him and and his death every time they met together to
eat. It seems we need all the reminders possible to prevent us from forgetting
even the really important things.
Remember God and his wonderful works.
