Seated
In the tales of King Arthur, his heroic knights were seated at a round
table to prevent arguments about who had the higher ranking seat. Likewise,
God also builds in safety features to help us get along with each other.
Since there is no rank within the body of Christ, we are to live lives
of humility, not "seating" ourselves ahead of others by assuming
a higher rank or priority.
There
is only one who deserves the highest rank, and that is God himself. Only
he is seated on a heavenly throne. Because jesus is worthy to rule (see
Rule), the Bible notes that he is seated next to God the Father in heaven.
Seat
locations are used to describe a place of royalty or a position of leadership.

the Father.
