Wine
The Bible refers to wine in the positive sense more often than in a negative
sense. Especially in the Old Testament, wine represents God's blessing
and the abundance he bestows on his people. The law contains regulations
for presenting wine as part of an offering to God. And the prophet Isaiah
portrays the coming of God's kingdom as a feast, "a banquet of aged
wine" (Isaiah 25:6).
Wine
often represents prosperity and God's blessing.
